Hi...


I'll just keep this post short, simply dropping a few names, adding that I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know some of these wonderful people personally, being as bold as to call them my friends - mentioning that all of these extraordinary people listed below, with such extremely gifted musical ability, remain always true to their roots and moreover, their art. 


This is the "short list" of famous musicians, (in alphabetical order), who grew up in, or lived in, Canada's Golden Horseshoe --- there are so many more, but that info will have to wait until another post.

By the way, I ought to ask, since he is singing on the Grammy Awards as I write this post, how is  Mr. Tony Bennet linked to Canada's Golden Horseshoe?

He was recently honoured with an Honourary Doctoral Degree from McMaster University, Hamilton, ON.         




& I haven;t forgotten to mention the long-list Grammy Nominee from Hamilton, ON --- It's Mr. Dave Rave!!!!  Congratulations Dave!!!


I'll list all the other wonderful artists from this area in future posts --- I haven't decided yet the topic of tomorrow's post --- there's just so much to chose from --- a virtual superabundance of names, places, events....
