Hi...
This is the first of an infinite number of posts bringing you daily-fun-facts while blatantly bragging
about Canada's “Golden Horseshoe” area in Ontario.

While growing up in
Hamilton, Ontario, I came to realize that an incredible number of creative and exemplary people hail from the Niagara Escarpment Region, in other words,Ontario's "Golden Horseshoe" - extending from Tobermory, Stratford, and
Guelph to Niagara Falls and the Niagara Region in New York State, USA.
In this relatively small, but fascinating, section of the world, some
of the most exciting people have created
some of the most amazing things and have become famous all over the world, for their
efforts, diversity and ingenuity such as in music, art, acting, movie-making, medical and scientific
discoveries, space travel, industry --- for instance, Alexander Graham Bell and
the telephone, U2, the Canadarms 1 &2, and Butter Tarts.
The list goes on & on
&on...Like the jingle says: "Good things grow - in Ontario!"
...next time,
Patti Zonta
